We are pleased to announce a call for abstract submissions for the upcoming Professional Counselors & Therapists Conference, which will explore the transformative role of professional counseling in building a resilient and thriving Africa.

About the Theme: 

As Africa continues to face challenges and opportunities across sectors, the importance of mental health and well-being cannot be overstated. Professional counseling has the potential to address key social, economic, and psychological barriers while empowering individuals, families, and communities to unlock their full potential. This event provides a platform for thought leaders, practitioners, researchers, and policymakers to share innovative ideas, practices, and research contributing to reshaping Africa’s future through counseling.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract Length: 250–300 words
  • Format: Word document or PDF, 12-point font, Times New Roman, single spacing.
  • Language: English.
  • Deadline for Submission: 31st of January 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance: 27th Of February 2025
